Joseph is a Counselling Psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of psychological trauma. Joseph provides therapeutic counselling to adults with trauma-related psychological issues stemming from:

  •             Grief and loss

  •             Road trauma

  •             Natural disasters (bushfires, floods)

  • ​            Crime experiences (violent assaults, armed robberies, homicide, hostage, domestic violence) 

  •             Abuse in childhood or adulthood (sexual, physical, emotional)

  •             Misconduct by professionals or religious representatives

  •             Sexual harassment

  •             Workplace bullying

  •             Political imprisonment and torture

  •             Racial or cultural descrimination

  •             Socio-cultural dislocation

  •             Suicide prevention

​Joseph's expertise lies in the provision of medico-legal reports, based on clinical and psychometric assessment methods, and in the provision of psychotherapeutic treatment for clients presenting with post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related disorders identified within the psychological research literature.

Joseph holds a PhD in Counselling Psychology. He is a member of both the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and fellow member of the APS College of Counselling Psychologists.
